Mythological Significance

As we know that Brahma and Vishnu have a two strong powerful god. Brahma had decided to himself to be the Creator and was Destroyer, he was commanded more respect. Both of them were forget about the Quarrel and decided to determine the size. Neither which could not as certain just then, Shiva was appeared out of the lingam and it was the nice of both of them. It is the believed that one who utters the name of Shivaya on the eve of mahashivratri. People repeat the Panchakshara Mantra, Om Namah Shivaya. In the night people were making the ascetics which 9is very famous for this days. This ascetics were making with the help of almonds and milk, which is essentially drunk which is very popular. People are enjoying by taking this drink because this is the Prasad of Maha Shivratri festival which is very popular with ascetics.
